      This article relates to my book called "The Chosen" which is mainly about a Jewish neighborhood. This article talks about if Jewish neighborhoods are a good or bad thing. This relates to my book because in the book "The Chosen" it talks about the good and bad things about a Caucasian boy who lives in a Jewish neighborhood and always compares it to a normal neighborhoods nearby. Also, the article talks about how other neighborhoods with a variety of religions and cultures is different than Jewish neighborhoods, which is the similar thoughts the main character has in the book. The two texts talk about the comparisons of a normal neighborhood compared to a Jewish neighborhood. Personally, I believe that Jewish neighborhoods shouldn't be compared to other neighborhoods because this could eventually lead to an act of harassment by the media and/or political members. Which could lead to big religious conflicts around the world

Sniper Summary and Thematic Paragraph

     The short story “The Sniper” is about a civil conflict between the Republicans and the Free Staters. It's about on a man who is a Republican sniper taking on the opposing sides sniper, going one on one, in about a streets distance. Snipers from both sides have a intense showdown against each other. The Republican sniper is well prepared in the fight and ready to pin off his opponent. The Free Staters sniper gets a hit on the Republican sniper, but it's not too savior. The Republican sniper quickly patches himself up and plans a fake death to make the other sniper think as if he won the fight. But little does the Free Staters sniper know that his opponent is alive and kills him with a surprise attack. The Free Staters sniper is dead, but the Republican sniper feels a guilt and loses his excitement of battle. After the Battle was over with the Republican sniper decides to head his way to his enemy's position. As he starts to investigate the dead body, he was shocked to find out that he was fighting his own brother.

What is the author's message? Provide evidence from the text and explain your thinking.

          I believe that the authors message is that war can alter your judgment and make you think indecisively to the situation created. In this story  "The Sniper" there are two brothers shooting and each other until one of them is shot to death. If they had realized the fact that they were brothers before it was too late, they would be in sudden shock and thinking if we had continued the battle one of them would not have been breathing. “Then the sniper turned over the dead boy and looked into his brother’s face.” I would only imagine how heart breaking and shocked the Republican sniper would have been taking the life of his own brother and living with that guilt for the rest of his life. He mistakenly killed his own brother in the battle they had, and this was all because of the event called war. Reading and thinking about this conflict with better decisions

that could have become the outcome to the situation, makes me think of the unnecessary effects  of war.

Sniper Article

 A Horrific Night At Dublin

It was 4:30am, rifles fired from the rooftops and dead bodies were on the grounds of the  lonesome area in Dublin. A woman was also shot dead along with a driver who was suspected to be hers. The gunshots fired loudly and police were notified 30 minutes after the shooting took place, by local residents.
The Dublin police arrived at the scene at 5am, they were all armed with weapons and had their dogs on the investigation with them. The police surrounded a 2km radius prior to the location the shooting incident took place. Local residents on the street the shooting happened were all to evacuate their homes by police just in-case. Some say that the incident had them shook while others say they ran to safety. “ I was walking home from the gym as I heard loud shots, I thought it was just some kids messing around since they played with cap guns. But as the sound of the shots got louder every step I took to get to my house, I ironically glanced at the rooftop of a building and saw a sniper shoot. I thought he was going to shoot me because I was one of the few people outside at the time. So I ran away from my house until the gunshots were officially done.”
Police say that there were to men with snipers on opposite ends of a street shooting at each other because of the damage done on both sides of the street. On one end there was a dead body, but on the other there police just found blood on the floor of the roof meaning the other suspect had escaped.
Dublin Police say they will further investigate to find the other suspect, and rushed the dead body found to the hospital in consideration to finding his identity. Police is taking  this case very seriously, as this investigation is still going on until they find the other suspect.

What will they write upon my grave
A free man born as a king, who died as a slave
But everything he gave her was for nothing though
Oh no I can’t fade these things I got to let you go
You got me tripping like a flight to Vegas
All this stuff you got me doing man it’s outrageous
All I know is I’m living the life I never would
Finally let you go I thought I never could.
